Data collection is crucial for monitoring student progress on IEP goals as well as other parts of the IEP. However, data collection is often the “weak-link” in the process of determining whether the instruction being provided is making a learning difference for students. This training will provide participants with a process for making decisions around what and how to collect evidence for measuring goal progress, various examples of methods of collecting data, and how to use that data to determine next steps for students.
